Welcome to Blyss. By downloading, accessing, or using the Blyss mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Blyss is operated by Cryptiic Studios Ltd ("we", "our", "us").
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 12 years old to use Blyss. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
2. Your account
To use Blyss, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
When using Blyss, you agree not to:
- Use the App to harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Send abusive, hateful, or inappropriate content through mood notes or anonymous support notes.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts without authorisation.
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
4. Groups
Groups in Blyss are limited to a maximum of 8 members. The group creator is the initial admin. Admins can transfer admin rights to another member. When leaving a group as admin, admin rights are automatically transferred to another member. Mood data within a group is visible to all group members.
5. Anonymous support notes
The anonymous support notes feature is designed to provide encouragement and support. By using this feature, you agree to send only kind, supportive, and appropriate messages. We reserve the right to take action against users who abuse this feature, including account suspension or termination.
6. User content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including mood notes and support messages. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the App's functionality to you and your group members.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Cryptiic Studios Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Blyss is not a mental health service. The App is designed for casual mood tracking among friends and is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cryptiic Studios Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or any other damages.
11. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your personal data, mood entries, and group memberships. This action cannot be undone.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the App, its users, or Cryptiic Studios Ltd.
14. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
