Option 1 — Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your Blyss account is directly in the app:
- Open the Blyss app on your device
- Sign in to your account
- Tap the Settings icon (top right)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm by tapping Delete
Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the email address linked to your Blyss account:

Subject: Delete My Account
We'll process your request within 7 days and confirm by email when complete.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased from our servers:
- Your email address and authentication credentials
- Your display name and profile emoji
- All mood logs you have submitted
- All vibe tags you have selected
- All anonymous support notes you have sent
- All pokes you have sent or received
- Your group memberships
- Your notification preferences and FCM device tokens
- Any other personal data associated with your account
What data may be retained
For legal, security, and integrity reasons, we may retain the following for a limited period:
- Anonymised aggregate analytics — usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you personally (retained indefinitely)
- Server log data — IP addresses and request logs for security and abuse prevention (retained for up to 30 days)
- Backup data — encrypted backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 days before being permanently overwritten
What happens to your groups
If you delete your account:
- You're removed from all groups you belong to
- Your mood logs and contributions are deleted from those groups
- Other group members can continue using Blyss without disruption
- If you were the only member of a group, the group is also deleted
