Our commitment
Blyss is committed to protecting children and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualises minors. We comply with all applicable child safety laws and cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities.
Blyss is intended for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly allow the collection of personal information from children under 12.
How Blyss is designed for safety
Blyss has been built with safety as a core principle. Our app architecture significantly reduces the risk of CSAE-related harm:
- Invite-only groups: You can only join a group with an invite code from someone already in it. There is no public discovery, no friend suggestions, and no way for strangers to find you.
- Small private groups: Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 members. There are no broadcast features, no public profiles, and no global feeds.
- No image, video, or audio sharing: Blyss does not allow users to upload or send photos, videos, voice messages, or any media files. All interactions are limited to mood scores (1–5), short text notes, vibe tags, and pokes.
- Strict content limits: Anonymous support notes are limited to 280 characters. Mood scores are validated to a 1–5 scale. This prevents the platform from being used to distribute harmful content.
- No direct messaging with strangers: All interactions happen within established friend groups. There are no DMs with users outside your group.
- No location sharing: Blyss does not collect, share, or display user location data of any kind.
- Age requirement: Users must be 12 or older to use Blyss. Users under 18 are required to have parental or guardian consent.
